Brand Story

Few brands in the laboratory carry a longer institutional memory than PHCbi. The business began building medical refrigeration in Japan in 1966, rose to global prominence through the Sanyo and then Panasonic Healthcare names, and adopted the PHCbi identity when PHC Corporation was established as an independent healthcare company. Behind the changing nameplates runs an unbroken engineering tradition: more than five decades of protecting the world’s most valuable biological material.

That tradition shows in the products for which the brand is known — ultra-low freezers whose vacuum-insulated panels deliver more storage in less floor space, incubators engineered for contamination control, and cold-chain equipment trusted by blood banks, vaccine programmes and the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. When a −80 °C freezer holds a decade of irreplaceable samples, reliability is the entire specification; PHCbi’s market position rests on delivering it.

For Malaysian laboratories, hospitals and biobanks, Infenix supplies and supports the PHCbi range locally — Japanese cold-chain engineering with the service infrastructure critical equipment demands.
