Built by someone who spent twenty years at the bench
Infenix Sdn Bhd is an integrated laboratory solutions provider in Kuala Lumpur, supplying equipment, consumables, reagents and chemicals from 19 manufacturers to research, clinical, IVF and industrial laboratories across Malaysia. We also develop and customise PCR and qPCR assays, consult on laboratory setup, and manage installation, commissioning and training — because supplying the instrument is the easy half.
Why Infenix exists
Most laboratory suppliers stop at the delivery note.
Infenix was founded in 2023 to close that gap: to specify the equipment before quoting it, source it, install and commission it, train the people using it, and then help develop the assay that runs on it. Four capabilities that most distributors treat as somebody else's problem, held by one company with one point of contact.
That model isn't a marketing position. It's the working method our founder spent two decades practising before Infenix existed.
What “integrated” actually means
Specify
Throughput, footprint, utilities, budget, and the workflow the equipment has to fit into — including reading the construction drawings. Before the quotation, not after it.
Supply
Equipment, consumables, reagents, chemicals and glassware from 19 manufacturers across eight categories, sourced against that specification.
Most suppliers do only thisCommission
Delivery, installation, verification and hands-on user training — so the instrument is working the day it is handed over, not the month after.
Develop & support
PCR and qPCR assay development and customisation, protocol transfer, application troubleshooting, and ongoing service.
We do all four — which is why laboratories call us for a project rather than for a part number.

Career
Pei Ching began as an R&D manager at 1st BASE Laboratories, then spent nearly two decades at Eppendorf Asia Pacific covering Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Indochina and the Philippines.
From 2006 she provided pre- and post-sales technical support for real-time PCR cyclers, automated liquid handlers, IVF micromanipulators and microinjector systems — going on site to set up assays, run them, analyse the results, and troubleshoot them when they failed. In the same period she consulted on new laboratory setups: layout, equipment lists, maintenance planning, training and budgetary proposals.
As Business Development Manager from 2012 she managed turnkey laboratory projects end to end, while coaching the application specialists and sales consultants who did the fieldwork.
She left Eppendorf to build Infenix.
Regulatory experience
She also worked extensively in medical device regulatory affairs: establishing a quality management system compliant with Malaysia's Good Distribution Practices of Medical Devices (GDPMD), acting as Local Authorised Representative for medical device import and distribution, and managing MeDC@st device registration under the Medical Device Act 737 and the Medical Device Regulation 2012.

The laboratories we work with
Nineteen manufacturers, one point of contact
Molecular biology reagents, cold storage, microscopy, IVF systems, sample management, consumables and glassware — one purchase order, one team that knows what is on it, one number to call when something needs attention.

What we're here to do
Our mission
To empower scientific progress by making innovative laboratory technology, and the knowledge to use it well, available to every laboratory in Malaysia.
Our vision
To be the partner Malaysian laboratories call first: for the equipment, for the assay, and for the answer when something isn't working.

Tell us what your laboratory is trying to do.
Whether it's one instrument, a consumables contract, or a laboratory built from an empty room — we'd rather hear the problem before quoting the parts.
